If there’s one thing the Marvel Universe has in spades, it’s mutants… well, before M-Day and the 198, anyway. Mutants have been consistently published in the pages of Marvel Comics since their debut in The Uncanny X-Men #1 published in 1963. While most people can pick the X-Men out of a lineup and identify the likes of Rogue, Wolverine, Cyclops, and Colossus, it can be harder to pinpoint exactly some of the more obscure members of homo superior. For this quiz, we scoured the mutants of Marvel new and old trying to find those most people either never met through the many film and television adaptations or possible simply forgot from reading the books. Don’t worry, there are a few in there that aren’t so difficult, but some of these folks aren’t the most well-known outside the core X-title readers. While some of these characters might have put an “X” on their uniforms at one time or another, they were never significant members for very long. With that in mind, give it your best shot.
